Hi, I am Deborah Gilbreath, and I have 23 years of continuous successful 12 Step Recovery experience. I continue to work with a mentoring sponsor, and to sponsor and mentor the newcomer to the 12 Step process.
Over the years, I have made use of various treatment modalities to assist me in my journey, such as: Outpatient Addiction Rehabilitation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Counseling Sessions, Transactional Analysis, Pastoral Counseling, Fellowship Participation and Meetings in: Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, Debtors Anonymous, Smokers Anonymous, Codependents Anonymous, Al-Anon, Overcomers Anonymous, and Celebrate Recovery. I am presently active in Narcotics Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Celebrate Recovery.
My spiritual path has been broad and varied, and now I am in Christian Ministry. In the past I have practiced or studied: Christianity, Zen Buddhism, Universalism, Agnosticism, Atheism, Wicca, Rosicrucianism, and finally back to Christianity professionally. I am a licensed Christian Minister, and I study at the Seminary. I have learned conditioned programmed relaxation meditation technique, as well as undergone hypnotism in my initial efforts to quit smoking. I have practiced Zen meditation techniques, as well. I am a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, since 2013, after taking a college course for Christian Substance Abuse Counseling.
Thank you for visiting my recovery blog and I pray it will be helpful to you in some useful ways.
A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
Wishing you BLESSINGS and all the Best in your new ministry!

Yes, I am certain that I will. I am struggling with video technology right now and it is really cramping my blogging and reading time. God bless
